Well another one bites the dust

Received word today I didn't get a job I was so hoping for.  I applied as a Medical Billing specialist with a home health care service not far from where I live.  I went on the interview December 13th and waited.  And waited.  And waited to hear from them.

Finally in early January, I emailed the HR department inquiring if the position had been filled.  I heard back and they said they hadn't made a decision yet, but would let me know soon.  So, again I waited and waited and waited.  In the meantime, I am filling out applications, praying, filling out more apps, doing some more praying.  On Tuesday of this week, I emailed the HR department again.  Today I got:

Mia,

I am sorry you should have been notified on Monday.  We have filled the position; however, I am keeping your applicant packet and resume for any future positions that may become available.  Thank you and I wish you luck in your search.

I have to tell you, I cried.  I wanted that job.  I cried to God, "Lord, you know I wanted that job!"  Of course, as the day went on, I had to remind myself the job was probably not for me and I wouldn't have used my God given talents the way they should be used.  So, I'm putting in more applications. 

Hopefully, the Lord will see fit to allow me to start helping with the bread winning again.  All I can do is just wait on him.
